What is Model United Nations, and why GS-MUN?

At a Model UN conference, students work as the representatives of a country, an organization, or a person and aim to solve problems working with other delegates from around the world. MUN teaches skills like research, public speaking, debating and writing skills, in addition to critical thinking, teamwork, and leadership. Coming up with solutions that are acceptable to a majority of the representatives also inculcates skills of negotiation, conflict resolution, and cooperation.

At a personal level, this MUN endeavour will stretch the general knowledge & awareness of the participants while sensitising them to the challenging global issues and the intricate obstacles of being a global leader. Moreover, it will develop and enhance skills to negotiate, articulate and market ideas along with fostering critical and creative thought process to spontaneously come up with solutions to some grave world problems.

Put your debating and negotiation skills to the test. Exciting cash prizes await for the best delegates of each committee!
